As if President Joe Biden hasn’t already done enough to degrade our country and weaken our national security, he’s taken it a step further. In an unprecedented move, just over a month before he is slated to leave the Oval Office, Biden is auctioning off pieces of the U.S.-Mexico border wall. This reckless decision is yet another slap in the face to the American people and the brave men and women who work tirelessly to keep our country safe.

Under Biden’s administration, we’ve witnessed an alarming erosion of border security. The southern border has been overrun by illegal immigration, drug cartels, human traffickers, and countless other threats to our national sovereignty. While the vast majority of Americans demand stronger border protections, Biden has stubbornly refused to act in their best interests.

Instead of securing our borders, he’s dismantling what was one of the most effective deterrents to illegal immigration in recent history—the border wall. Now, in a move only describable as the final insult, Biden is auctioning off pieces of the very wall. 

While millions of Americans are grappling with the chaos at the southern border, Biden is effectively profiting from its failure. This decision is a clear indication the interests of the American people and the safety of our nation are secondary to political agendas and misguided ideology.

But there is a silver lining. Thankfully, Texas has a fighter in the form of Attorney General Ken Paxton who has consistently stood up against the federal government’s overreach, particularly when it comes to border security.

In the face of Biden’s reckless actions, Paxton has taken quick and decisive legal action to protect Texans once again. Attorney General Paxton has led the charge in challenging the Biden administration’s disastrous policies, including its efforts to halt border wall construction. Paxton has made it clear Texas will not stand idly by while the federal government undermines our safety and security.

Through his leadership, Paxton has proven he is a staunch advocate for the people of Texas and the preservation of American values. While President Biden continues to auction off pieces of our national security, Paxton is working tirelessly to ensure Texans remain protected and the federal government is held accountable for its reckless decisions.

As for President Biden, his actions speak louder than any words. His policies have weakened our nation and put Americans at risk. The auctioning off of the border wall is just the latest in a series of failures that have led to a crisis on our southern border.  January 20th can’t come soon enough!
