The results of the 2024 general election have highlighted a significant achievement in Parker County, which has distinguished itself amidst the largest counties in the state. This success is due to the tireless work of so many grassroots activists, who made phone calls, knocked on doors and mobilized their friends, family and neighbors Save America and Vote Republican! The Parker County Republican Party was proud to help play a role in this process and worked hard to implement a multifaceted campaign strategy aimed at enhancing voter turnout.
In a time when political engagement is so essential for the health and future of our great nation, Parker County demonstrated our commitment to civic engagement and Republican virtues, achieving record voter turnout numbers. Of the 50 largest counties in Texas, only four achieved more than 70% voter turnout. Parker County finished election day with 71.57% turnout, giving us the second highest voter turnout (Comal 71.9%) among the 50 of the largest counties and the highest voter turnout in Parker county history.
The Parker County Republican Party executed an ambition campaign strategy for the November election that included over 70,000 direct texts and calls aimed at educated and encouraging constituents to participate in the election. In addition to this direct outreach, the party through the help of local business leaders, initiated a comprehensive mail campaign designed to maximize our reach to registered voters. The mail piece included essential information about candidates, polling locations, dates, and times; and included a letter meant to encourage voter participation and strengthen the Republican resolve. These efforts were complimented by targeted social media advertising that leveraged the digital landscape to engage younger voters and reach a broader audience. Physical materials such as flyers, slates, and block-walking initiatives further enriched the elections campaign.
The aggregate effects of these initiatives were palpable and serve as a marker for elected leaders that Parker County must be a priority for them. We saw this truth on display as our early vote turnout numbers alone sparked Senator Ted Cruz to make a second trip to Parker County for an October 31st GOTV rally. This success serves as a reminder of the local engagement that makes our county so great and such a beacon of hope to the thousands who are moving here.
